check out a globe or world map. you may find that the 2 countries lie on the same line of latitude.

this means that they should have similar climates. several things will affect climat though.

you may find that both countries lie on the western side of a continent, on the coast. this allows the winds to blow in sea air carrying rain so you may expect the same type of vegetation to grow due to plenty of rain.

if both countries are large, you may find that as you move away from the coast the country becomes dryer and hotter, because all the rain, moisture from the sea air has fallen as rain and so only dry air is left causing warmer air.
