I usually use the Dreamatte Mouse foundation b/c it goes on light and it gives my skin a healthy glow all day! I think powder is usually worn over a liquid foundation to reduce shine.
The bronzers are a good idea as well although I can't vouch for them as I have darker skin and don't have a need for them.
But yea, just play around with some foundations that have a mouse or liquid texture. The definitely give your skin more of a "boost" the just using powder alone.

You can keep your regular powder foundation, but try using a highlighter or illuminator to give your skin a natural glow. A bronzer also works for any skin tone and just apply where the sun normally hits on your face for sun-kissed look.

Add an illuminating highlighter to your face and a nice blush. The highlighter gives your face a soft sheen which is not to harsh. The effect is more of a glowing look. I like blush afterwards to pop the cheeks. I like the one by Benefit.

BRONZER! It's a fashion must have. And in the cold winter months it gives your face a sun-touched kiss. Just dust it on over your blush, around your face, on your nose, wherever you want to liven your face up a bit! =)

try a mouse foundation. it coes on really sheer if you use your fingertips and it's not as heavy as other foundations. with a little translucent powder all you will need is a little eyeliner mascara and you could be out the door.

NoHoGlo mineral powder foundation from LAminerals. com.
I use it and LOVE IT! It make your skin kinda dewy and glowy lookin. I put mine on with a flat top brush and kinda buff it.
A kabuki would work too if you have one.

same as first answer : bronzer! it really does brighten up your skin. also, you could try some self-tanning lotion. Dove Energy glow works really well, it tans your face a little by just moisturizing!! hope this helped!
