If breast feeding, all you need is somewhere for the baby to sleep--pack'n play, carseat, or if he sleeps with you, then you're set! You will need diapers and wipes, too. Just know that if he cries a lot, the people around you will be upset, and you may be asked to leave. I've heard of that happening once. As long as you are aware of the possibility ahead of time, then you should be set!

Feed the baby just before you leave. That way the baby will sleep. Does the baby like the car. Most do. The motion soothes them. Make sure you take plenty of diapers. As you know breastfed babies poop alot!!! Most of all, make sure you are hydrated so you are able to feed the baby. Relax and enjoy the trip and sleep when you can. Young babies don't often sleep well in a strange place. Try to keep your routine the same (bedtime, bathtime, etc.)
Hope this helps!!!

I think you're set since you breastfeed. I breastfed too so it's nice to not have to worry about bottles and formula. The baby will sleep a lot in the car (so that will be nice for you). For the hotel, bring a few blankets since they can be really cold and something for the baby to sleep in, I always used my pack n play. Your voice, scent, and breasts will be all your baby really wants at this age. Have a great trip!

Make sure you bring a travel bed. You can get a snuggle nest or the Eddie Bauer infant travel bed. Hopefully you'll be going in an SUV.. or a large vehicle so you can fit your stroller, bouncy and all of your luggage. Make sure you have a good breastpump so you can pump and bottle feed your baby in the car.. since you can't remove him from the carseat while driving. Other than that, have a great holiday!

I would:
- Bring a paci for driving through the mountains. The pressure of the ascent and descent can be hard on little ears. Will also help if he gets motion sick.
- Bring a soother (womb sounds bear, crib soother of other type) for both the car and the porta crib.
- Bring a porta crib (would not use the hotel cribs).
Good luck with the trip!

You didnt mention id baby does well in the car. I know for me my daugther hated the car from day one till now at 14 months old.
And travelling is a big headache. The only thing I can think of at your baby's age is something that connects to the baby seat that can dangle in front of baby.
Hopefully you have a baby that sleeps in the car. Most babies do.

its hard traveling and breastfeeding. i went from VA to MA . i leaned forward with my breast out instead of taking him out of the seat, he was almost 4 months though. also, i traveled at night since he would sleep more. or you could pump some and give it to him in a bottle on the times you cant stop. i have a baby boy too and hes such a mommas boy lol:)

in case you're flying then verify with the airline to make confident they have water on the plane so which you are able to use or get them to describe the way it rather is normally dealt with. Use dry formulation and combine with the water until eventually you may get single serve premade formulation. locate out NOW in case you may get the bulkhead seat. if so then locate out if there'll be room for the motor vehicle seat and take it on board if possible.
