Step 1: Login into your paypal account
Step2: Click on MERCHANT SERVICES
Step3: On the merchant services look for PayPal Website Payments Standard....
Again look for Key Features on your right hand side
PayPal Shopping Cart
Other Leading Carts
Buy Now Buttons
Subscriptions & Recurring Payments
Donations
Gift Certificates
View all features
Click on the PayPal Shopping Cart or Buy Now Buttons and fill up your item details or your product details the one your going to sell on your website... Once done click on Create Button Now
Paypal will generate a code for your. Copy this code and paste it on your website... done

Open a bank account for the paypal funds to go into.
Then go to the link I've posted and follow the instructions.

*Note - paypal does charge you per transaction ($0.30 USD + 1.9%-2.9% per transaction)
If you have a bunch of transactions then you should set up a pro account and pay the monthly fee of $30.00 USD

you have to have a paypal account.
When you get there, go to "merchant tools", and all the options for creating buttons or text links to sell things are right there. They even give you the codes that you need to use.
It's very easy
