I worked at the co-op when I left school - those were the best years of my life! Dead end job but I met life long friends! I can imagine Argos could be quite depressing - stuck behind a counter or worse on the 'dock' of the warehouse. It's not a conventional shop were the teens would get to pick up serving skills etc.

I don't see how it could be a bad place. Better to work In Argos than a supermarket I think. Now's a good time for them to apply for jobs there because they will have plently of Christmas vacancies.

My sister worked there for several years always as a Christmas temp and loved it!. i suppose it depends what they want out of employment, what future prospects etc etc.
if there just looking for something to fill the void then i would let them go ahead!
