What mobile device I need?

I need a mobile multimedia device. I need

Must

- Browsing, with pictures
- movies, music. Nice to be able to play flash movies / streaming.
- Check Gmail, CBS Sports line etc.
- No monthly plan. Have wireless router @ home.

Nice to have

Camera, picture / movie
Games

Don't worry about

Calendar, phone, email, outlook synchronization, txt messaging

What is best for me?

All of those phones you're not going to buy with a $200-$300 budget.

You might try to find one on eBay or refurbished.

You can do all of those things on the AT&T 8525. It has Wi-Fi, so you wouldn't need to buy an internet package.

My BF has one, and it's his most prized possession. Lol.

iPod and iTouch do not do Flash.

So your cheapes alternative to the Archos is the PSP. You can use various online or PC Youtube video convertors because while it does do some Flash it won't play Flash movies. But it will do everything else you have listed.
