Be proud! I started laughing one day when I realized I was waddling. It's just more comfortable to waddle because it's hard to keep our balance since your body and equilibrium is all different. I'm 16 weeks now so I don't waddle yet, but I'm sort of looking forward to it.

yes,my husband actually said that i had the walk..
and he rearranged our living room so that I would sit in the recliners instead of the couch(which is a futon) I wouldn't be able to get out of the couch without help..lol sometimes I lay on the floor and I need help getting up.and I'm only 19weeks..I was just a tad overweight before I got pregnant so that has a little to do with it.lol..I also went to my ob appointment and had my u/s at 18weeks and the nurse that did the u/s said the baby was 7 ounces.which i guess that's big for 18 weeks. I am also pregnant with a boy..MY husbands dad is 6 feet and 6inches..his brother and sister is 6 feet and 8inches..so I am going to have a BIG baby if he takes after his dad that is lol..
congrats .

It will be alright. My husband walks behind me and waddles like a penguin... It is just one of those things that pregnant women endure

From what I've seen, every pregnant person waddles. Some have it worse than others though.

LOL, I am 23 weeks and I'm starting to do the penguin walk. I feel like a walking bobble person. We cant help it. We are full of baby! Just feel happy he didn't tell you you look like you have a stick in your butt. My boyfriend did that the other day, Hormones started flaring!

I thought it was just me. Nobody said anything to me but as soon as 8 weeks pregnant I felt myself walking differently. My stomach and my back just feels wierd. Most times I catch myself walking with my belly pushed out.

yeah I had the pregnant walk from about 4 months on cause my son was so very low in my pelvis (he even split my lower ab muscles). If someone ever mentioned it I usually said "well yeah, duh!". I figured it was just one more pregnant thing. Plus MOST people that tell you will be doing it in a friendly almost affectionate manner. If they say it to be rude, ignore them.
