I haven't milked a cow, but I did milk a goat a pioneer festival thing. It was kinda fun, but weird.

Yes I did actually and I did quite enjoy it after I stopped laughing. I think the cow enjoyed it too. lol

I was pretty young so it seemed really cool.
that day was fun...until the baby pig peed on me...
here's a little gross fact about milk and I will only drink organic that was hand milked.
The machines they hook up to the cows milk and milk and milk, well the cows start to bleed and squirt puss, this goes into the milk.
Pretty gross.

yes, my great-grandfather had a dairy farm in northern wisconsin.
it was fun to squirt milk at the cats hanging around

Frequently and goats too!
They always enjoy or at least appreciate it! Those udders get very heavy and uncomfortable you know!
I however just saw it as one more job to get done!
