IF it's a fair coin, 50/50. But 10 tails in a row leads me to have serious questions about the coin's fairness. That's a one-in-a-thousand run for a truly fair coin.

Bekki's answer is the best one. The probability that the next flip will be a tail remains at 1/2, which means the odds are 50-50 for a tail (and also for a head). The outcome of each toss is independent of the outcome of all previous tosses.
She also points out that the probability of rolling a fair coin 10 tails in a row is (1/2)^10 = .00097. And the probability of rolling a tail eleven times in a row is (1/2)^11 or 1/2(1/2)^10 = .5(.00097), which is 1/2 the probability of rolling ten tails in a row. This is true if and only if the current outcome does not depend on previous outcomes; they are independent outcomes.
In other words, chances of rolling tails that many times with a fair coin (where the probability of heads and the probability of tails are both 1/2) are pretty darn slim. More than likely that coin you are tossing is not fair because rolling ten tails in a row would be a really rare sequence of events. There is a branch of statistics called hypothesis testing, where we precisely define just how "rare" things have to be before we suspect unfairness or caused bias in our results.

There is a 50% chance that the coin will lay on tails the next time. You see, the "odds" of it landing on heads vs. tails will always be 50% regardless of how many times it has landed on tails before.

50% is correct. It's totally random and since you only have two choices it's 50% chance every time you flip it.

half/half. You cant really control the outcome of a coin flip unless you purposely influence it.
