I have an automatic. I can drive both. Sometime i love the ease of my automatic but i miss having the control of the car like you do with manual.

Manual for country driving and automatic for city use. Shifting all the time in the city, can get old. Especially in rush hour traffic.

I prefer the manual transmission because I feel I have more control of the vehicle, especially on ice and snow. Plus, there's just something more "fun" about driving a stick shift....

I'm a lazy driver, so automatic. Besides that I went to auto school and found out that manual systems are actually more costly to replace and fail faster in many areas.
