Start by not rubbing it in. I got the "flying wing" formation on the right side of my head today and my Alfalfa cowlick is being used as a bird's nest. I don't mind the little scratchy birdy feet, but the bird poop just makes my hair even more sticky.

Shake your head in front of them so they will notice. You could also brush your hair alot. I only have a good hair days on the day that I've got a haircut scheduled.

ride that wave brother!
take numerous photos of yourself and email them to everyone...
post enlarged pictures of said photos around your office/home and continually refer to this day as "the hair day" whenever people ask about them
organise for someone to bring you flowers and chocolates at the busiest time of day, when there is the most people around. Maybe a signing telegram to really rub it in!!!
