Republicans have been very successful based on a couple factors. They have appealed to the "cowboys" who want revenge (no matter that we took revenge on the wrong target). They also appealed to the fundamentalist Christian wackos who care nothing about lies, torture, or illigitimate wars and murder as long as you "claim" to be against pro-choice and anti-gay. And their ability to control the media through right wing talk radio and FOX and such things as Swift boat veterans lying about the opposition also helped.

Which guy? You need to make sure your questions are clear, by what you posted one can only assume who you are talking about.
If you are talking about Bush his brother stuffed the ballot boxes for him in Florida. How he got in office is beyond me you would think people would want someone with a decent IQ rather than a babbeling idiot that makes up words and can't speak very well and is a raging drunk back in the day! Oh and who can't accept his gay daughter!

Hamilton was right: the masses are asses. They get distracted by shiny objects (gay marriage, flag amendments, illegal immigration) and fall for the fearmongering at every turn. They don't see the malfeasance, the incompetence and the graft. They don't want to see that they have no real say.

Not sure which guy you are talking about, but people get reelected for a simple reason, they get the most votes.

I assume you mean our President.

He was elected by the majority of Americans who values morals and values. He also had a sound plan for America's prosperity. After 9/11, President Bush's safety plan was (and still is) the best we could ask for.

I assure you, if President bush could run again, he would win a third time.
