I am due in 5 weeks and we cannot decide on a girl name. I like the names Audrey, Alaina, and Mallory. My husband likes the names Cara and Thora (no I am not kidding, he seriously thinks this is a pretty name). Of those, I threw out Thora and he threw out Mallory. He is not crazy about my other choices and I am not crazy about his. Any suggestions on either what you think of those names or any other names would be appreciated.

i like Audrey, Alaina, and Cara. none are too bizarre you can't pronounce them and none are too common that she would end up with 4 girls all named that in class.
on another note - how about Aubrey Kara? yes Aubrey not Audrey. it might just be the ticket to a great compromise...you give one letter he gives one letter. :)

Audrey is an old lady name where I live, I really liked Mallory!, out of what is left I like Cara the best.

How about Caralaina. It's Cara and Alaina combined. One of your names and one of your husbands names. Good luck.

I love Mallory, that is my fave, but your other names are pretty too. I don't like Cara, but I do like Thora, it's different. I also like Jillian, I think it's really pretty. Piper is cute. Whitney, Delaney, Ellery, Valerie, Avery, Lynlee, Sage, Kinley, Kinsey,Lylah? Good luck to you guys!

Ummmm well your husbands names I don't kno too much about but I think the name Alaina is very beautiful and not a common name.

I like Alaina out of your names, but if you want something new try going to a baby name site such as www.babynames.com. Hopefully there will be some name out there perfect for both you and your husband's taste. I'm having a boy this time but if I ever have a girl we're going to name her Maia/Maya. Good luck!

I like Audrey Cara. Its unique and pretty. You could do what my husband and I did for our daughter. We combined the names we liked into one. Our daughter is named Avaya. It came from Eva, Vanessa, Ava. I sorta like Carlaina or Audra or you could use one of yours as a first name and one of his as a middle name. Ultimately, when you see your daughter for the first time, you will find the perfect name and it may not be any of the ones you already have picked. good luck :)
