If there was a new law saying that if you are a US citizen but don't like the way it's being run (ie Bush), you are free to immigrate to any other country in the world, get a second-citizenship for that country, and even get assistance finding a job similar to what you currently have... Which country would you pick and why?
This is just a *poll*
:)

i know you're free to go anywhere you want, but what i meant by "law" is that you can automatically get a second citizenship, cause sometimes it's hard to get a different citizenship especailly if you don't meet all the criteria

Don't think I'd want to leave here permanantly, but if things got THAT bad, I would probably say Australia, or somewhere in the UK.
Why? They seem like good places to live, and wouldn't be completely out of my element. The people and ways of life are somewhat similar, depending on where you go, and don't think I would want to totally change my lifestyle by moving to somewhere like China, or Africa......know what I mean?!

If Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger makes California a country, and secedes from the Union, I'll chose it. I at least will still be next to the land I love, and call America. I will not leave, or abandon her.

Well, we are free to go to live in any country of our choosing as long as we meet their criteria.

I'm trying to move to The Netherlands and it has nothing to do with Bush or the way America is being run...just love to travel...living in the Bahamas right now.

Not leaving even if Clinton was Pres. BTW there doesn't have to be a law. You are free to go whenever you want.

Ireland....I love the culture and I could be back where our family came from. It's also close enough to go to England (one of my most favorite travels)

I love this country...even with all of its quirks. I would vacation nearly anywhere...but always look forward to coming home.

I'm staying here because this is where my family is. If I were to immigrate, it would be to New Zealand.
