Why so some people tell me it is gross wearing my sneakers without socks? What is so gross about it. I see a lot of people these days not wearing any socks in their sneakers, and I do not think it is gross. I remember one time I was with a neighbor, and she asked me why I am not wearing any socks, and I told her that I hate wearing socks, and very very seldom wear them, and then she added "YUCK!" And her husband hardly wears socks, and she even gets after him for not wearing any socks. Therefore, what is so gross about it. I take good care of my feet, and my sneakers, and rotate them daily so my feet and sneakers don't stink so bad. HOw can it be gross if I rotate my sneakers daily, and wash my feet daily when I shower. I don't think it is gross, but diffferent not wearing socks in my sneakers.

Some people just have problems with that and the reason it becuase your feet tend to sweat more in sneakers when you don't wear socks...

because when you sweat in leather, you are growing Bactria, that can result in mold and fungi growing in the shoe, as well. regardless of how often you rotate your sneakers and wash your feet, you could still end up with mold in your shoe or a serious infection caused by the bacteria. socks are the washable, absorbent barrier intended to prevent your feet from sweating into something that cannot be laundered.

Yuck! Your feet get a sweaty in there and begin to smell.. even if you shower everyday..
Also people do wear socks with sneakers, you just can see them. Socks are getting smaller and smaller!

It makes your feet sweat and stink by the movement of your feet in your shoes. And the dirt from the inside of your shoe sticks to it! It is only proper, after all, to wear socks with your shoes!

I think because it makes your feet very sweaty and smelly alhtough I sometimes dont wear socks because I dont like my socks to show

Because if you don't wear socks then your feet sweat faster and it just feels weird. And most peple out there do wear socks it's just that they are short ones.

why dont u try to buy ankle socks their comfortable but if u dont like wearing socks dont wear them its ur body ,But not wearing socks does make ur feet sweat thats the purpose of wearing socks so it can absorb the sweat, im guessing if ur comfortable like that than keep doing it .

Your feet sweat while you are wearing them. You presumably change your socks daily or every couple of days at least and wash them before you wear them again -- do you wash your sneakers after you wear them each time? Doubt it. ewwww.

Because your feet will sweat and stink!
Even if you rotate your shoes that doesn't stop your feet from sweating during the day while you are wearing them.
