You are the bride so you're in charge. Why dont you talk to her before you decide to cut her from the wedding. You will certainly lose her as a friend otherwise. Hopefully she hasnt already spent a lot of money on dresses or showers associated with your big day.

If you haven't already, confront her! Next time she is in whine moded, just look at her and say, I am sorry, this is my wedding, is there a reason you complain about every decision I make? I thought you would enjoy being part of my wedding, I know I am really looking forward to having you share this special day with me! That will give her a chance to say anything that is on her mind, or just very nicely it will tell her to shut up and play nice!

Not sure this is a business question, but changing a bridesmaid is not proper typically. Once you have asked someone, especially if any expense has been made by this woman, you would not remove her unless you also remove a groomsman. Simply "replacing her" would be inappropriate no matter how annoying she is.

Have you tried expressing your feelings and concerns to her of how negative she being?Remind her in a round about way that's its your wedding and you want things to go smoothly and she can either go with the flow or you can find someone else.Ask her how she would feel if you were behaving like her if she was the one getting married!

The wedding is your day not hers. Best to switch her out now.
If she is complaining now she isn't going to be happy no matter what you do.
Tell her you will choose someone else.
