I've heard a lot of people say if your stomach is small and round then its a boy and if its big and pretty much spread around your waist it's a girl. Some other people say girls tend to give worse morning sickness then boys. What are your experiences??? and is there really a way to tell (besides ultra-sound) ???

all old wives tales,im on my 2nd boy and both pregnancies have been totally different, the way ive carried, ive had sickness with 1 and not the other,my first was a fantastic pregnancy no complications or anything this one ive been ill loads.

You could always try having a look at gender charts as they have been correct for me all my friends and my mum, just type gender charts into google.

Apart from that the only thing that has been correct both times for me was dreams.
My first i had dreams about having a little boy then this one a few wks before my scan i dreamt i we was there and seen little boy's bits.

As far as how you carry... I've always heard the opposite for boy vs. girl (wider w/ a boy... basketball tummy w/ a girl).

I am pregnant w/ boy #2 and my pregnancies have been completely opposite. During my 1st, I was never sick at all. That was NOT the case during my 1st trimester this time; I was sick allll the time.

During my 1st pregnancy, I just KNEW I was having a boy. I can't explain it. (The dreams about boys may have been part of it.) This time, I didn't have an intuition one way or the other.

They're all just old wives tales. Fun but don't believe everything you hear. Ultrasound is the only way, and even then, it's not 100%.

I dont think its true because I have a small & round belly front out & did not have any morning sickness. I am having a girl.
Though there are a lot of websites which claim that they can tell you whether its a boy or girl by DNA and all(They cost around $250), I dont think they are accurate enough. There is drano test too but its 70% accurate. But the most accurate is amnio(99.99%)and then ultrasound(85%)

There aren't really any different symptoms. I have one girl and one boy and my symptoms were the same both times, I didn't have morning sickness with either one and didn't really notice that I carried them differently. The ultrasound or amniocentesis is the only way to really know.

nope, no real way to tell besides ultrasound and of course giving birth... .
Ultrasounds arent always 100% either... the only true way is seeing your little bundle of joy face to face!
Good luck.

Well, if its a boy, he will tickle your tummy like a butterfly, if its a girl, she will kick ya in the ribs!
