I am very greatful to Dennis Kucinich for all his brave work, and I am going to donate to his presidential campaign.

Anyone who opposes Cheney's impeachment is an Israeli shill or a corporate sock puppet.

Dick Cheney is a torturer, a murderer, an embezzler, and a traitor. The sooner he goes back to hell, the further hell stays away from earth.

We need to stop empowering him immediately by destroying any shred that remains of his facade of legitimacy.

About that 911 thing you did a few years ago, Dick; there's a lady here by the name of karma, and she'd like to have a word with you outside.

I SMELL A RAT! Republicans vote yes on Kuchinich proposal to impeach Cheney

Come on folks, is this the Republican Party we have "come to know & love"?

Something is fishy here. I suspect 2 things:

1. They want to save whatever is left of their crumbling party and to save as many Congressional seats as possible by "looking good" in the eyes of voters...specially when the Democratic leadership screwed this one up.

2. Cheney doesn't give a rat's *** and is willing to resign and even get impeached in order to have Bush appoint his brother Jeb or the likes of Giuliani to become the incumbent vice president which would make him the head of the Republican Party and leading Republican presidential candidate for the 2008 elections.

If anything, stupid Democrats have more to lose if they DON'T back Kucinich by being portrayed as the wussies they are to the American public.

What do you all think?

Considering Cheney and Bush both lied to Congress and the American people to start an illegal war and occupation of Iraq, are now repeating their behavior leading us toward another illegal war with Iran and have underminded the Constitution with illegal wiretaps, abductions, torture, firings and signing statements; and impeachment is part of our Constitutional process of checks and balances, I support Dennis Kucinich 100% and thank my California Congresswoman: Lynn Woolsey, Barbara Lee, Maxine Waters and Diane Watson for supporting the Constitutional process.

edit: I was home watching C-Span earlier and Democrat Majority Leader Steny Hoyer moved to table (kill) the resolution...while Kucinich was being interviewed it was losing by a large marin (up to 152 Republican votes to table)...then the Republicans decided to debating the issue would embarrass the mainstream Democrats so the majority of GOPs changed their votes to NO-it was like watching a crashing Stock ticker...so next Steny Hoyer not wanting to debate made a precedural motion, followed by a third vote to send it to a Judiciary Committee.
The majority of Americans take Bush & Cheney's crimes seriously but Congress would rather brush it under the rug and get on with the election.
Thanks Dennis!

I think it's about time that a Democrat stood up for the (according to nat'l polls) 51%+ of Americans, who support the call to impeachment of both Cheney & Bush. It's not surprising that Dennis Kucinich would be the one Democrat w/ the integrity to once again demonstrate the courage of his convictions and honor those he intends to represent as President: the disenchanted, disenfranchised, exploited American ppl. Impeachment is warranted, since In his conduct while Vice President of the United States, Richard B. Cheney, violated his constitutional oath to faithfully execute the office of Vice President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and violated his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed. VP Cheney has purposely manipulated the intelligence process to deceive the citizens and Congress of the United States by fabricating a threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction to justify the use of the United States Armed Forces against the nation of Iraq in a manner damaging to our national security interests, and he is in the process of (deja vu all over again) repeating the same behavior w/ regard to Iran. Vice President Cheney actively and systematically sought to deceive the citizens and Congress of the United States about an alleged threat of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. He and those who advise him and whom he advise have spun our nation into perilous times. . .

While I doubt HR333 will "go anywhere", it's certainly a broad statement on Cheney's massive abuses. Cheney has usurped power that is contrary to the Constitution and most likely in violation of federal law.
Cheney is dictatorial, obsessive, and extremely evil. Look for "666" etched on his forehead. -RKO- 11/06/07

I whole-heartedly support it. At last: a courageous congressman with a backbone! And the best Presidential candidate, by the way. Cheney is a criminal many times over. History will look back in amazement at our (Congress & the public) complacency & cowardice in prosecuting the Bush Admin criminals. Wake up everybody & take these Fascists to task!

Dennis Kucinich is a courageous American.
We need more in congress with spine.
We need more in congress like him.
I think his resolution, HR333, is the best thing that's happened in the House in a long time.
I guess you could say I'm in favor of it.

I like the intent behind it, though I doubt this will pass as there aren't enough votes to override GOP obstruction and neither are there enough Democrats willing to even put it up for a vote.

Dennis and the people supporting the bill are doing what they are elected to do. We all should be supporting this if we put aside our political views and look out for AMERICA !!

I wish it would go through. I do not know the amount of votes required to start proceedings.
