...but it’s wrong to use “yellow”, thus we use “Asian” instead?

for lack of something better to call them, i guess. It's more PC to use the term "African-American" for Blacks, but they don't call White people "European - American" unless they were actually born in Europe, so a lot of Whites don't feel they should have to call Blacks "African - American" if they've never even been to Africa, while White people who were actually born and raised in South Africa and move to America(like Charlize Theron)aren't considered "African-American". Besides, Blacks can be Jamaican. With Asians (or Oriental as they used to be called),at least one knows they're from Asia (unless they're Hawaiian),but even that's not PC because then Japanese,Chinese,Vietnamese,Koreans, etc are kind of lumped into one category, like people can't tell them apart and call them all just "Asians" to be safe. I guess it's all just a way to avoid confusion, i guess. But i think it would be nice if someday we could throw away all of the terms so that everyone who lives in America will be "Americans" and the only Race would be Human...

There are some people that use yellow for Asian, red for Native Americans, and brown for Latino

Erm kind of funny but not very nice to say I suppose because (Yes although technically brown) black people are clearly that colour and surely it wouldn't offend to be called that and the same for white (Yes technically pink)
