Not at all. I think our country is lead by many very well educated people who know exactly what is going on in this world, and they are doing what they can to protect us best. You are not priveledged to inside information. Perhaps we should be able to hear everytop secret thing about this war, but the truth is this is not so, and therefore, we civilans cannot make a judgement like this. I believe that we are in Iraq to secure an American controlled zone next to the true threat, Iran, who has actively called for our blood and is working on a nuclear arsenal, and this IS public information. Is that morally right? Depends. Would you want to sacrifice your children on the alter of being "fair"? I support my country in this war because I must live here. Believe me, if the Iranian president had his way, he would NOT differentiate between those of us who support the war and those of us who do not, we would all be equally dead. You should spend more time reading history and current events, as well as military history and policy, before you make a judgement.

The problem is with the Iraqi goverment. They have not stepped up and the Bush clan is not forcing them to step up. A time line would get their butts in motion to find a solution but they know that they can delay forming their goverment while collecting warfare welfare. They are getting rich on our tax payers expense. Bush needs to be a man and say enough is enough you have till the end of the year to get all parties together or were leaving.

For those of you who answer this question with the likes of "freedom is not for free"....I ask you this question.....
WHOSE FREEDOM ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??????
Have any of you not seen the same cycle over and over again? We go into a country or region with our own selfish reasons in the guise of democracy.....back a new governemnt with money and weapons.....brag about it.......and that same government turns corrupt and ends up being our enemy!!!!!
Do you all really think that this is the way to give people freedom???.......Kill millions????
Oh... you were talking about the US's freedom...oh!!!!
Ok so we are in another country....spending trillions....killing millions.....losing thousands of our own....ignoring domestic issues....oh... and in a country that did not attack us and had nothing to do with 9/11!!!!
Are you kidding me?????
Again this is the regurgitaion of the ranting and raving conservative talk radio host feed to the American public.
The reality of war and its cost and backlash on humanity is never discussed on these shows. The sheer incompetency and greed of our Presisdent and Vice President is ignored on these shows.
Yes, Yes and Yes......this war is one of the most destructive in the history of the world...
and the worst is yet to come!

Yes, it will take so much and so long just to repair the damage the Bush Administration has done to Iraq, the region, and the United States.

Our soldiers have been put in a situation that is impossible. They are fighting with more courage than I can even imagine, yet they are being asked to acheive something that can't be done. Bring them home, spend the money here, rebuild "our" military and damn it pay them more money instead of pissing it away on rebuilding other countries.

It is only a waste if we don't finish the job and make Iraq stable. If that doesn't happen, then yeah, everything is a waste and the world will end and we will all die.

It's only a waste if we pull out before they can fend for themselves.
This isn't the first time America has forced Democracy on another nation and it won't be the last.
