I have a christmas party every year and always play the same game (if you say the 'word' you get your bell taken away, the one with the most bells wins) I want a new game that will force people to mingle and not have to split up in teams.

If you search for bowtie christmas party games on google or yahoo you should get to a bowtieproducts site that will give you 6 new original games that will help make your nite fun.

You can print them all out for free.

Some of the games especially Sandys Christmas Carol game can be adjusted for nearly any age 8 and up.

Other games are fill in the blank but they get people singing to do so. Or joust of the carols becomes a Christmas carol Karaoke of sorts.

For parties mixers like this work because they give folks something to do while they get warmed up to each other. if they want to talk, they can talk, but if conversatrion lags games like these take up the awkward silences that many of us dread.

Whats nice is that people don't all have to be in it to enjoy it. Some can just help out if asked or enjoy the groans of the answer section.

If links work in the answer blocks here's the link

there is also some party giving advice you may enjoy.

My wife and I made up the puzzles and many people really enjoy them.

I hope they work out well for you

Sardines. One person is chosen to go and hide somewhere in the house whilst everyone else says where they are for a predetermined amount of time, then everyone begins to search for the first person and, when they find him or her, join them in hiding until only one person is left..the loser.
Never have I Ever..you need to be a child or at least a little tipsy for this one. Everyone sits in circle and they each have ten tokens..the first person begins by stating "Never have I ever.." and adding something they have never done. Anyone in the group who has done it has to give up a token. The next person repeats this with something they have never done and so on until one person is all out of tokens ...you can select categories for each statement, ie, things you have never eaten , places you have never been, activities you have never participated in..its the sort of game that tends to get racier as the evening wears on and can give rise to some real conversation starters when you find out that one of the group has done something particularly weird or outrageous.
