I wanna poll of all of yall.....Ok heres the deal...my last King Sized Snickers that I pilphered from my kids Halloween stash came up missing. And I was CERTAIN my daughter ate it.....so I grounded her and washed her mouth with soap for lying to me about it. WEll, this morning while taking my Min Pin , Nozzle out to do her morning business, I noticed several peanuts in her doo doo. Thus proving that SHE, the DOG ate my candy NOT my daughter. What do I do? My daughters in school and will NEVER know that I found out it was the dog...do I tll her? Or take the secret to my grave?

You better make it up to her!! First of all, you stole it from HER candy in the first place so she had every right to eat it! Apologize, grovel, and give her whatever she wants for days now. Seriously. You f*cked up! Go buy her stuff, let her stay up late, don't even THINK about making her eat her veggies. Give her M&M's as a side dish with dinner. and pilfered is spelled with an F. That poor kid. You should let her kick you in the balls a couple times!

You need to take your dog to the vet, first of all, because chocolate is poisonous for dogs!!!
But, anyway.... you punished your daughter for eating candy that you stole from her in the first place? I dont know the whole story, but that sounds pretty bad, especially because she didnt eat it. I think that you should tell her, and apologize and explain to her why YOUR actions were wrong, so that she learns from your mistakes as well as her own.

Yes, you should tell her. Apologize for not believing her and go buy her another candy bar. Poor baby, she was probably so upset because you did not believe what she told you. Besides you stole the candy bar from her first, talk about not fair. Sorry man, but we all have a few of those parent moments that we are not so proud of.

You should tell her and apologize to her for making a mistake. This will teach her that people make mistakes and that the right thing to do is admitt you were wrong. If she finds out later that the dog did it, she could lose trust in you for punishing her.

It depends on how old she is. Ask her again and, this time, tell her that you believe her and apologize for doubting her the 1st time. There's no reason to explain the dog ate it and you know, just let her know you believe her this time when she says no. Explain to her that everyone makes mistakes, even you.

Kids need discipline take the secret to your grave. What are you doing letting your kid eat snickers? She is going to get fat and never get dates. Take away the candy and give her Diet Red Bull instead.

You have to tell her, say sorry so that she can learn that mistakes happen and even daddies make them She will respect you more that way and also she will think that if she can get introuble for something she didnt do she might as well do it all

if you encourage honesty in her, you need to be honest with her. It's the right thing to do, regardless of whether she'd ever find out or not. Practice what you preach. Then let her wash YOUR mouth out with soap.
