You can still have a baby if the tumor is not too big to interfere with your ovaries working. And you have 2 ovaries, so if one is blocked by the tum our, the other will still work.
you will have to monitor it though, since it tends to grow bigger as time goes on, and you may need to have it taken out when it gets too big and starts to affect your whole reproductive organs. So the earlier you begin having babies, the better for you...all the best

I also have a fibriod, but mine is in the uterus and won't let the egg implant. I have had 2 surgeries and going in next week for a sonohysterography again to see if we are good to go this time. I wish you all the luck and talk to your dr to see if it will inhibit a pregnancy. Most fibroids tend to grow with the estrogen levels and while pregnant your levels grow, so it would be something to want to watch for. Good luck and baby dust to all!!

It depend on the location of the fibroid. A lot of women have fibroids and have healthy pregnancy. If you are concern you should consult with your doctor. Good Luck.

No because my mother has them and she even had the surgery . They didn't take the tumors out but about three to four months later she found out she was pregnant. She didn't have any problems with her pregnancy. My brother is now 3 so anything is possible. Keep god first through out your pregnancy.

No and I have a little boy to prove its possible. :) Your doctor will probably want to watch your pregnancy much closer (regular sonograms), but I had a fairly uneventful pregnancy until the day I delivered. The complications were totally unrelated to the tumors however. Good luck!

Hi Darlene, this should be ok under the proper care, talk to your obgyn about it, to see what they think, you can also ask an RE (fertility specialist) online for free to see what they think about fibroid tumors and trying to conceive, try www.FertilityTies.com

Not necessarily, unless you only have one ovary. They both
produce eggs.
