Turtles should not be lazy if their water temperatures and habitat are right. If they are lazy this could be a sign of low water temps, illness or stress.

Normally if they are lazy the water temps are to low!!!!

Mine are never lazy as they are always on the move in their tank...

What do you mean lazy?

They are not running marathons etc. Turtles do not do very much, maybe if you want something active get a dog and take it for long runs etc.

Turtles aren't very active to start with, but if they are too cold they will not move. So check your temperature. It should probably be between 70 and 85 degrees.

Well, they are turtles. What, exactly, were you expecting them to do?

They're probably resting up & saving their energy for the upcoming winter Olympics. They're favored to win the pairs figure skating event this year.

What are you're temperatures at? If they aren't warm enough, they could be more sedentary than normal. They could also be sick.
