i have a gateway GM5442 and i want to know what video card i have ,because their is a game called Gears Of War thats comming out tomorrow ..but i dont want to buy it if its not going to work

press windows+pause/break . click on hardware tab , and then device manager. in the long list , find out "display adapters" , and click the plus beside it. you can now see your graphics card.

Click Start and then Run. Type the following:
dxdiag
Press OK.

Go to the Display tab and look under Device. That will tell you what video card you have and also how much RAM it has installed.

you have a Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 ( GMA950 ) graphics card (I did some research on your system and found it) I doubt that this is going to be able to run gears of war.... what you need to do next is go out and find a graphics card that can run it, once you have found that graphics card your going to need to buy a stronger power supply (use whats recommended from the graphics card your buy).

right clik on your desktop...go to properties...click on the Settings tab and under the "Display" label youre card is listed

Click Start menu
---->control panel
------------>system
-------------------->click "hardware" tab
---------------------------->device manager
-------------------------------------->Display adapters

Will name it here...

Or, go to gateways website and look under support, in the manuals section
