Interested in making some extra money and we have the ability and facility to do something more than your average "craft" at home. Any suggestions would be great.

Snowmen are always a seller. But to get a good idea of what people are looking go to a couple of craft shows and watch what people are buying. I did craft shows for years and I always did very well. Good Luck!

My sister has discovered that she likes making bird houses. If that was something I actually enjoyed, I would consider getting one.

Other people make Christmas-y plaques with trees and holly on it, or brightly colored birds against a snowy background.

Many years ago, I saw a beautiful little figurine of Santa Claus kneeling over a manger. Perhaps that will give you an idea to work with?

I love the idea about birdhouses - that is great. Also, my sister makes some beautiful tree ornaments. They are hand painted and have become family heirlooms. I like to do stained glass but that's not in your wooden category.
Have fun.

Childrens' train sets. Each car can be a personalized letter that can spell their names.

Do your facilities allow for making wooden baskets?
