Better question: who made the troll?

Please consult any general biology textbook or google "evolution" to get some straight facts. Evolution is not just we come from monkey....not even close.....try to research and get some good information before starting this nonsense.

Who made the monkey?
OK - well, monkeys evolved to become monkeys from *their* ancestors. Monkeys are primates, which evolved from organisms similar to modern lemurs (and from which modern lemurs also evolved). Those proto-lemurs also evolved from ancestors that were more rodent-like in appearance. And so on, all the way back to the first organisms.

We (Homo sapiens) are a branch on a vast evolutionary tree. We, and all the modern apes, evolved from "ape-like ancestors" that were members of the Primates.

The Old Testament stories about the creation of the world are not facts but are more like parables, meant to teach moral lessons, not to tell you how the world was actually made. If you have a sufficiently open mind to accept that, then you might try "Theistic Evolution".
This is the idea that God, being omnipotent and omniscient, could easily have "kick-started" the universe in such a manner as to acheive humanity - capable of reason, capable of free will, and capable of salvation. And the mechanism He chose was evolution.

And as for the explossion (sic) - I assume you are referring to the Big Bang? If so, then that was a very long time before monkeys, or life of any sort. However, since science cannot tell you what happened before the Big Bang (in fact, since the universe - and Time itself - came into existance at that point, there was no "Before"), this could also easily have been God's doing.

Evolution says that we and apes and monkeys all evolved from a common ancestor, just as dogs, wolves and coyotes also evolved from a common ancestor. Those common ancestors also evolved from a more ancient common ancestor, and so on and so on back to the very earliest forms of life from which everything living originated.

There is so much evidence that clearly and strongly supports this idea. Everything from genetics, biochemistry, cell structure, body plans....All of biology supports and is consistent with evolution of all living things. There is nothing scientific that conflicts with the theory of evolution.

One of the big problem with religious explanations for origins of living things, is WHOSE religious explanation is the right one? Every religion has an explanation for how the world and living organisms came to be. You, as a believer in the truth of the Bible, accept the Genesis explanation as the only true and correct one. A Hindu has a different explanation, aDaoist has another one and so on. Basically, every group of peoples has their own creation story. Why do you accept that the Genesis story is THE right one? Only because you have faith that it is. Having faith in something doesn't necessarily make it so, though, as many other religions have faith that THEIR explanation is the one right one.

So, geology, biology, and chemistry all support the evolution of living things with no conflicts or inconsistencies in any of the evidence. Every religion has a different explanation for origins. Which is a better explanation?

"We all came from the Earth. She is the true creator of all living things."

"No, God both created us humans and monkeys as totally different creatures."

"We were created by an awesome God! Read Genesis chapter 1. He created us in his image to bring honor and glory to him, and accept his Son Jesus who died on the cross for our sins."

"God has stated that there are two kinds of flesh."

WHERE IS THE SCIENCE?! (This is a *Science* section, is it not?)

I'm not saying these statements are wrong ... I even agree with some of them. But they don't even pretend to have a *trace* of scientific reasoning or evidence.

All they show is that you are so befuddled by science that you don't even know what a science answer *looks* like ... and yet you feel the urge to post 'answers' on a Science forum.

This is what leads to an understanding of science so muddled, so utterly confused, that someone would think that monkeys were made by an "explossion."

Please don't post on a Science forum unless you want to either *ask* a real question, or you can actually *answer* one. Otherwise, you are just another person adding noise to the Internet.

Most of us atheist have the decency to be reasonably well versed in the major religions (often more so than those that claim to be religious)... You could at least make an ATTEMPT at understanding evolution before posting idiotic rants on a biology page....

Then again, that would require an understanding of the facts...and we all know religion has nothing to do with that!

Our last monkey ancestor was about 22 million years ago.

Monkeys have prosimian ancestors, of still more ancient vintage. *shrug*

No, God both created us humans and monkeys as totally different creatures. We may almost have the same number of chromosomes, which make us very alike, in intelligence and in action, but we're not the same exact thing! Good luck hope this helped!
