how can i generate or raise money? for medical expenses?

my mother is to be operated and it will cost my family around 50,000 pesos or equivalent to 1000 u.s. dollars.. do you have an idea how can i raise that money?.. i needed it next week.

Besides begging (panhandling).. you are going to have to find odd jobs to do work....

In the US a lot of stores will allow people to put coin jars at their counters for donations.
