I was watching CNN this morning and they happened to talk about how human Kidneys are not sold but donated which make it legal to do. In return the donor is getting back 2000 dollars. Now the Government is trying to make legal to sell human organs and make the Philippines number one human organs exporter. Most the people who donated are regretting what they have done.
I know how poor people are but this is a Sin and should not be allowed.

Its sinful and unethical. Body Organs now, what is next ? Make Prostitution legal? How about making legal to sell your own kids?
This is not the answer or the path a government should be taking...this is the wrong path and corrupt politicians should be aware of this...

This is so disturbing, at the very least. It's another thing to donate your organs after you've expired (that's being noble!) and another thing to donate it to a needing friend/relative (that's being compassionate), but to sell it - that's outright greed!!!!!

And where does it say that the government has the right to be a purveyor of individual anatomical parts? Surely this is beneath human dignity and must be stopped soon. This is sooooooooooo wrong!!!

It is very disturbing to know that selling kidneys is like selling clothes or food - it can be done anywhere because it is now considered legal. I hate to think the repercussions of such an act will bring to humankind. If we are to be religious about this kind of thing, it is an act against God's law. We have no right to tamper with what God has created. But if that pleases man even if it isn't morally right, so be it. He is accountable to God in the end.

I might recommend a legislation bearing on the legality of babies driving at the again of bikes. It is my competition that a little one, who whilst driving in a vehicle or truck have got to use a little one defense seat or booster seat (beneath 6 years historic and beneath 60 kilos), will have to be forbidden by way of legislation to journey at the again of a bike. The present legislation bearing on this state that it's authorized for any little one who's dressed in a helmet and whose toes succeed in the foot pegs to be a passenger on a bike. I believe that the little one defense seat legislation will have to now not be overridden by way of the present bike legislation. Any little one who's not able to journey in a vehicle with out a booster seat has no industry driving at the again of a bike. The legislation says that ordinary experience will have to constantly observe, however, as everyone knows, ordinary experience isn't so ordinary.

That will be the donors' choice. It's like prostitution. We all know it's wrong but it's still your choice. The government can make it legal as long as they want, but it is still up to the donor if he wants to sell his body or his organs for that matter. Who needs a kidney if you can't feed it anyway?

Yan ang Pinoy! At least they are thinking of a way to make more money.

Prostitution is illegal but widely accepted as in many other countries.

I think adoption is the correct term for your last question and we (our country) have been doing it for many many years.

This is absurb, and will pave the way for the forcible harvesting of human organs from unwilling donors.

I see that Sugar Daddy has already donated his brain - it is brand new and has never been used.

Man this world is sick! I blame commercialization. It's because of it that people think that anything can be a commodity nowadays!

The real worrying part of all this will be the number of "volunteers" being forced into 'donating'. The street kids, the homeless and the poor will all be at the beck and call of greedy organ suppliers. This has to be stopped one way or the other.
To donate after death or to a needy relative is one thing but this will cause a lot of Disappearances etc.

And you are so right about Sugar Daddy

The government officials involved in these are not worried because they are safe. Even if they offer their body parts for sale, there will probably be no takers because they are just so tainted you could get gangrene when appended with anything from these jokers.

It's only adding pain to injury.. Good Lord! when are we going to end this kind of humiliation with our corrupt government system?! Really, it's something not to be proud of!
It is always the poor Filipino people who will end up as victims and I can't see an advantage of this proposed law. It feels like we are just selling our human rights / dignity for the price of $2000????! It will only make us a laughing stock even more! Really, the government needs to be exorcised! If only they will stop this corruption and give the Filipino people more job opportunities... <*-*>

ADD:
Exactly! the 'corrupt government officials' are the only one who will benefit from this big joke! Enough is enough!
