There are so many answers to this question... It mostly depends on two things, 1. where do you live? and 2. how much experience do you have?
If you live in some rural hole of a town where the avg pay is 8-9.00 an hour then be happy if you top out at 12.00/hr.
There is a good book I read several years ago that does a good job explaining how IT pay works, google for The IT professional's industry almanac. Good Luck.

MCSE, MCSA, Other Certifications = NET PAY is about $3,000-4,000/Month or 40-50K Annually

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science about 50 to 70K a year.

Master's Degree in Computer Science starting at 70K and goes up to $$$$$$ (depending on your skills.).
