removing Christmas is slightly drastic, and this grew to become into asked via quite a few human beings the day gone by. additionally why blame the different religions.. I advise in all honesty, if have been to pass ask a Muslim how they felt, they wouldnt be indignant via christmas.. So do no longer even complication with that argument with the aid of fact it stupid and you're only falling into the catch of greater racial and religiously fuelled hatered.. as for asserting happy holidays.. i'm happy sufficient asserting merry christmas.. yeah there is no longer something incorrect with the 1st asserting, why could it substitute particularly?? Why on earth has this subject unexpectedly risen while there wasn't a topic till now? I knwo others variety different faith who additionally get excitement from christmas.. why are a number of you so uninteresting, no longer desirous to get excitement from the spirit and heat temperature of christmas? why no longer permit others only get excitement from it and be quiet..

Wow...we have quite a controversy goin on!! I think just about everyone has had it with all this PC CRAP!! No...I do not like the idea at all. The government is really pushing it trying to take away our rights, one by one. As for me...it will be MERRY CHRISTMAS in big letters in my front yard, a Manger with Baby Jesus n a Christmas Tree in my window for all to see. I send you a star for your Christmas Tree too, hope I don't run out before today is over!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I will still say Merry Christmas & i don't care who likes it or don't like it. I don't see the Govt trying to stop people from saying Happy Hanukkah do you? This is just another excuse to persecute against christianity. i will be putting a sign on my window saying Merry Christmas & not that politically correct Happy Holidays stuff. Let somebody come to my door & tell me i can't have that on my window & see what response they will get from me.

I think that since America was constructed by our founding fathers, who based the rights and laws of our country on Christianity, that there should be no problem with saying Merry Christmas. People have been saying it for years. I have Jehovah's Witnesses knock on my door expressing their religious beliefs every week. Its not something that I am interested in, but I am not going to parade around like a moron saying that America needs to get rid of Jehovah's Witnesses. People are always trying to find a reason to ***** about something because they have nothing better to do. Too bad we couldn' get those people out of America.... :) but thats just wishful thinking

Christmas is as much a secular and federal holiday as it is religious. They have no business whatsoever getting rid of it.

If they do away with it, they'll have to create something else since they can't seem to be without their countless days off when everything is closed.

I think it is absolutely terrible!!!!!!!!!!!! It wouldn't be Christmas without the word Christmas. People have too much freaking time to come up with stuff to whine about. If you don't like Christmas or don't celebrate it then fine, but don't ruin it for the majority of people who do celebrate it. Christmas has been around for years and years and years and now all of a sudden it is not politically correct? Please!

DON'T MESS WITH TRADITION!!!

i think its outrageous! and i think its wrong! we all have to put up with things that we dont like in life. it wont kill someone to put up with hearing the phrase merry christmas or christmas tree for a few weeks.its not like anybody is asking them to believe in anything or participate in anything. its been said for 100 years or more and i just dont see why now all of a sudden its the most horrible words some one could say. america is also suppose to be a free country where you have freedom of speech it seems to me the government is trying to take all our rights away and tell us what we can and cant do and when we can do things. i think its sad....

i don't like the idea because christmas is a christian festival that has been going on for years. They already have tried to take away bank holidays.
