I live in Georgia and want to see it--why is it not showing here!?

Because it is an indie flick. Usually movie theaters will only pick movies that they think will get money. In small towns you are most likely to see crappy movies like "Who's Your Caddy?" to good movies like "The Assassination of Jesse James". Usually when this happened when I did live in a small town I would just drive to one of the indie theaters and make a day out of watching movies. Make it worth the trip.

Because it's arty and not a shoot em up blockbuster basically.
It's very long and slow and beautiful.
