Any data sent over the Internet can be intercepted.

Any data sent over a wireless network can be easily intercepted by people with equipment near you.

If the traffic is encrypted, then it is going to be a lot harder to make sense of if someone intercepts it.

If the wireless network uses WEP encryption, then it can be easily broken. If it uses WPA encryption then it is rather harder to break.

If you access a webpage over HTTPS instead of plain old HTTP (you'll typically get a padlock icon in your browser), then it will be very hard for third parties to decrypt.

Don't send anything sensitive without the padlock (especially bank or credit card details).

the reason it shuts off indoors the rain (as every physique else mentioned 12 hours interior the previous me) is by way of the fact the interference delivered approximately by way of using the rain intercepts the sign between the computer and router/modem. till you have an exceptionally costly router that would replace channels, then there isn't any longer plenty which you're arranged to do. the only subject you're arranged to do is to plug your computer as a lot by means of fact the modem/router with an ethernet cable (the unmarried which appears like a thick telephone cord). This cancels the instant connection and you will not have anymore stressful radio interference. even in spite of the fact that, you would be limited in that small section by way of way of long, goofy cord.
