Appreciating what ever one has been looking for, when they have it, is what is supposed to take over after the desire has been met.

I think the desire to be loved is just as strong as the desire to love another. Peshaps if we first learn to love the complete self then we can learn to love another wholely and entirely. And as the others have said the desire being filled it becomes something else.

Rena, Human love has failings, because humans have shortcomings and defects, it is really as simple as that, Love
is not complex, human beings are, we all will fail each other
from one degree to another, even tho. we profess we love.
If our expectations are wounded we have expected to much
from any one human, and have forgotten to error is human.

No if its a really binding relationship it wont be that way. IF He truly loves this person and she does him they will continue to want each other forever. Then really nothing is missing.
