Hi everyone!!
I am trying to start up my own craft shop on Ebay. I'm currently researching it to see which items sell. I want to specialise in die cuts!
If anyone has an advice for me it would be very much appreciated!!
Thank you!

Hi, you can trial a store for free for 30 days. This does involve a lot of work, and extra costs, but then you are able to list things as inventory to compensate. There is no magic bullet, you must research/know your product, be up front with postage costs, be prompt posting things, and to be successful, you need to find a niche that no-one else has exploited yet. As an exercise, get out your calculator, and some old Ebay invoices and recalculate them using store fees, and putting in some of them as inventory (which does sell slower, but your regular customers will love browsing it). If you can't make a profit, you have your answer! It takes a lot of hard work and time to build your brand, but you can get help from the forums, and you get to meet some lovely people in the crafts section. Good luck!

The best way to find out, is to do a search on Ebay and see who your competition is. You can check "completed items" in the left hand column to see what they are actually earning.

You may also have luck at Etsy, whish is where crafters buy stuff from each other.
