Sure he will. Assuming they offer him enough money.

If LSU is playing for the National Championship, it will be hard for Miles to leave. If Michigan will be looking for a head coach at the end of the season, they will want to find one as soon as possible. They cannot afford to wait for LSU's bowl game to be played out. They will suffer with some of those recruits that may bee undecided. Now if Miles is stupid and not coach the National Championship game, then that is a different story. The key will be in the timing of the firring.

Les Miles is about Les Miles. He burned Oklahoma State when he left and he will most likely leave LSU in the dust and head to Michigan as he has made it known in the past that Mich is his dream job. The question is... will Mich fire Carr after he beats Ohio St? The Appy St loss will seem so long ago if he does.

I was hoping Michigan would extend Carrs contract another 10 years , but after Ohio State wipes the field with Michigan he will be fired and searching for a replacement I am sure Miles would be a good fit .

Go Buckeyes !!

I think if Michigan gives Carr the boot, Les Miles will take the Michigan job. The simple fact that he will not deny the rumor makes me suspicious. I think that Miles is better suited to coach in the Big 10. I have doubts about his ability to communicate and get the most out of players that hail from the south, especially southern black kids.

The problem is that Miles has a stipulation in his contract that he has to pay back ALOT (millions) of dollars if he takes the Michigan job. Seriously. I was not real kean on Miles but after watching his coaching and the agressive go get em go for it on 4th down style...(something lacking at Michigan) I hope he does take over the program....as early as this week would make me happy!!!

It would be good for Ohio State if Carr stays around for a while. He is going to be 1-6 against Jim Tressel in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately for us (OSU) Lloyd Carr will get the boot after being crushed by the Buckeyes and losing whatever bowl game they get tossed into. Les Miles will take the job.
GO BUCKS!

I think Llyod Carr gets one more year. Their overall record is 8-2 and they are 6-0 in conference play (which is really what matters) and they are climbing their way back up in the rankings. The Big Ten has had trouble filling it's bowl obligations the past few years and won't this year. So, UM goes to a bowl game for sure. And considering the draw they tend to have, it should be a decent one. It's possible they will lose both of their next two games, but I think it's more likely they win at least one, probably Wisconsin. So, overall, I think Carr keeps his job for at least one more year. And if they happens to beat Ohio State, he's definately not going anywhere.

When Les does leave, I want Spurrier. As much as I hate the guy, can you imagine Steve Spurrier coaching talent that is consistently better than Florida used to be?

WHEN michigan beats osu next week, carr will keep his job. and why would les miles go anywhere, he should stay and win a few more...unless the recruiting classes suck, then he should move on and dump them to someone else...

All I hope is that he doesn't do what Saban did, and just up and leave us right after winning a National Championship
