Yes. My wife and I have been together 10 years and swinging for four of them, and there is no end in sight to our marriage. We are very happy (like two teenagers in love) and very stable.
The facts are that the divorce rate amongst real swingers is estimated at less than 15%, three times less than the general societal average of around 50%. When I say "real swingers" I'm talking about those that do it because they share similar sexual fantasies, not those that use it to "spice-up" or "fix" a dying marriage. They get divorced anyway, with or without swinging. It just seems they are the ones you always hear about. You never hear about the happy, well-adjusted and secure couples because they don't get divorced.
As far as the kids: Why would you make any of your sex life and of your children's business?
Swinging is not a 24/7 orgy. Quite the opposite in fact. Most swingers swing only once or twice a month. In a poll done on The Swingers Board only 7% of swingers answered more than "Once a month or so". Swingers lead everyday normal lives, just once in awhile they throw another couple or single into their sex.
Besides, kids don't even want to think their parents have sex much less know how they do it.

I have know swingers over 3 generations. They are all in stable relationships and in all cases there are children. Swingers have a divorce rate of about 5% to 10%, much better than the 50% average.

People think swingers are at it every day and every night.
Its not the case. Its an occasional party that adds some zest.
Dont try it unless you and the spouse have discussed every possibility that may happen at a party. You may want to start with just one other couple before you start attending the larger parties. I consider us very stable.

Sure, why wouldn't there be? Those with children tend to keep that part of their life private (same as they would when having sex with each other at home). Many can find overnight babysitters for when they decide to go out and party.

I have a friend and she and her husband are swingers. They have older children. I think it's very sad and I really don't have alot of respect for them. I can't imagine sharing my husband with anyone, but to each his own I guess.

I believe that one doesnt have to be defined by what they do in the bedroom. What that means to me is that just because you like your sex a certain way doesnt make your life more or less stable. I think that how you live your life makes your life unstable but NOT how you like your sex.

My husband knows a guy who is in a relationship where they swing. His kids don't know, but seriously, for how long? Anything could happen and they could find out and then what?
Not to mention he has to keep guns and weapons in his home in case an angry husband shows up??? Would you really want to live like that?
Then there are diseases, unwanted pregnancies... it's insane.

Speaking from personal experience with swinging...NO NO NO!! Getting involved with swinging was the beginning to the end for my first marriage....We share 3 teenagers...and we by no means allowed them to know what we were involved with...but I think they know...kids are just too smart!!

i knew two couples who were into swinging, and they had quite a nasty reputation... i know two of the adult children of one of the couples, who are humiliated and embarrassed over their parents' actions... and both said they'd never live that sort of life...
both couples are now divorced.
