I went to an amazing party at my friends house. We all dressed up, there was a live band. It was so much fun.
Did not really buy into the Y2K hype.

I was still in high school so we had a big party and just before midnight we all ran out into the street and started singing "I'm gonna party like it's 1999" at the top of our lungs. It was a great night.

I had to work and then I went home, got a little drunk, watched fireworks at midnight and then smoked for the first 4:20 of the 2000's. My friends that didn't have to work packed backpacks with matches, water and canned food and got ready to riot.

We were moderately prepared, my husband works with computers and he wasn't worried so neither was I. We stayed home with the kids and had champagne and watched the ball drop on TV.

We had a party. I had gotten a digital camera and took a ton of photos. We watched celebrations world wide. They guys played pool. We all ate ourselves sick.
