I heard that the minimum size is DD, so if you're determined you should go ahead and speak to your doctor.
I know how you feel - I am a 30H and I have had problems all my life. By the time I was 15 I was a 32F and I got bullied in school, I could never wear pretty or fashionable clothes like everybody else, I found exercise difficult and I felt like I didn't fit in.
Now I still have problems with my neck and back, but I feel better about myself because I have come to university and made much better friends.
Have you been to this website: www.bravissimo.co.uk
They do underwear from a 28D right up to K cup sizes, and they are brilliant for finding big cups with small backs.
There are some very clever cuts that can help stop them digging into your shoulder (you could also try going down a back size.)
They also do a range of clothes with built in support, and another range with no support but that has unique sizing to flatter big busts.
Their bras are pretty and supportive, I've been using them for a few years and they made me feel feminine for the first time in my life.
Try them out before you go for surgery!
I'd love to know if you find them helpful,
Ruth X

I would say yes you are. I know 2 people that had reductions on the NHS because of the problems it caused to their backs.
Go and see your GP and ask, if you're in as mush discomfort as you are then I can't see why you would be refused. It may be a long waiting list though.

I took out a loan and paid for my breast reduction. I was a 34g. Its highly unlikely the NHS will fund a breast reduction - especially the state its in at the moment.

It is possible if your in considerable pain
Go to the doctors and say your in pain and ask for all your options. Ask them if you could have a reduction too. I am a similar size to you and know what you mean - i used to get molested at school because of this and i used to wear huge clothes and walk with my arms folded across my chest.
I dont think there is a minimum size but if your suffering and in pain then keep badgering them!
All the best

It all seems like abit of a lottery at the moment as to wether you will get treatment on the nhs. I would ask you to visit your doctor making as clear as you can the pain you are in. Many women suffer unnecessarily and I hope you need not be one of them. Good luck x

Breast reduction surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

i don't wish to alarm you but my friend did have her boobs reduced on the NHS, although she had to go through 12 excruciating painful years of back ache, she had 2 discs removed in her back before the boob op! She had her op over 3 years ago and she is still suffering with back problems!
She was a 34ff before and now is 34b.
Good luck. X
