as a glassblower would have to say no life doesn't suck it blows ...ha ha really its just a phase once ...you figure out what you want to do and get good at it life gets easier and almost fun.. like any thing you got to pay your dues ..there are more responsibilities but with that comes more freedoms to be and do what you want ...start making some long money and you can travel to far away places meet some new faces and people to play with ...you got to do the hard work but then you get the hard rewards ...hang in there little one... find some thing you like get really good at it and see where it takes you... if you take care of the work day after day the work will take care of you.... my glass work has given me a life worth living but it kicks my but alot too.... preserver......peace out some old hippie in alaska...51 just forgot to grow up...

There are good and bad things about being an adult ... so yes, sometimes things seem to be overwhelmingly negative ...

BUT ...

LIFE is like that -- that is why we BECOME adults! LIFE as an Adult means RESPONSIBILITY -- for yourself, for your family (and especially the children), to pay bills, to go to work every day to EARN the money to pay the bills, and to keep doing just that.

What is VERY Challenging is when you are a Long Term Single Parent, who is the ONLY Income supporting your children (Because the ex NEVER follows the Divorce Decree or provides anything for the children), and when the ex (an Abusive, Violent, Sociopath from a short disaster of a marriage) continues to stalk, torment, burglarize, steal your identity, etc etc etc.

BUT ... an ADULT takes charge of their LIFE, WORKS to OVERCOME the obstacles, has set-backs, and yes, goes on (in the end) to THRIVE ... and to BE who they are!

How do I know this -- well, after being a Long Term Single Parent, a survivor of that short disaster of a marriage, and now ... after all these years, I am an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree with MY OWN HOME (That I enjoy myself), the children are adults and on their own (and learning the hard lesson about "responsibility" which they needed to learn), and I AM FREE .... to enjoy life a LITTLE at this stage of MY LIFE!

I'm 27 and I hate that time is accelerating.
I hate that every day is exactly the same.
I hate that the young Anthony was irresponsible enough to cause the adult Anthony to have to live paycheck to paycheck.

I'm 37 and for the most part being an adult is ok......sometimes if I want to act like a kid...goofy and all that, people look at you funny, like you're an adult, you need to act your age!

Ugh!

I'm 34 and it does suck. I most miss having the summer off to sleep half the day and laze by the pool the rest of the day.

I am 34 and what I hate is getting up for work, and paying bills. Life was so great when we didnt have to worry about bills.

yeah, sometimes ...
I'm only 21.
but what I hate most so far would be the burden of the responsibilities that grows so immensely as soon as you turn 18 or so.

26. I just miss not having as many responsibilities. It can be overwhelming, especially doing your best to raise kids.

I'm happy with my age though, and where I am at in life :)

38. Sometimes I hate being where the buck stops.

On the other hand, on long road trips, when I have to pee, the car gets stopped.
