In cricket, a googly/wrong 'un is a type of delivery bowled by a right-arm leg spin bowler. It is occasionally referred to as a Bosie (or Bosey) after its inventor Bernard Bosanquet; in Australia it is commonly referred to as a wrong'un (and in India as the wrong one, which led to the naming of the doosra, meaning the other one, named by its inventor Saqlain Mushtaq).

A Kumble bowls lots of googly/wrong ones too. It comes from the back of the hand. The bowling action will suggest a leg break, but instead the ball will do an off-break. This type of delivery which goes in the wrong direction of the action is difficult for the batsman to read. Thus, it is called as Googly or Wrong 'un (Wrong one)
