Making ribbon bookmarks with necklace pendants?

Has anyone ever done this? Any suggestions on making them?

Directions on how to make them?

It looks like you just thread the pendant onto your ribbon, near the end. Fold over the end and secure the ribbon to itself however you want to. In this picture, they have used some kind of metal crimper bar, probably available in the beading section of your local craft store. You could also sew it or glue it.
