Determine mass of potassium nitrate that could be obtained as crystals if 100ml and 1 litre of saturated solution of potassium nitrate are allowed to cool from 80oC to 25oC:

You would have to know the solubilities of KNO3 at 80C and 25C. I could not find those values in Lange's Handbook of Chemistry, the Handbook of Chemistry & Physics, or the Merck Index.

erm the question cannot be solved without the no. of mols of KNO3 in the solution/conc. of solution/Ksp of KNO3 at 80 deg C. I cannot think of any other way.
