Just thought I'd ask this since I have seen others think that "IF" certain ones gets deleted they seem to find it funny!!!!
I'm sure the ones that would be laughing over others deletion wouldn't think it was so funny if they were deleted themselves!!!!

Trust me - It stinks! I've been on YA since Oct '06, was a Level 6, had a lot of great contacts and saved answers, then WHAM - It's gone!
Plus, now I'm back at ground zero - Limited questions I can answer per day....
Edit - And as I've just found out, limited e-mails I can send per day...And NO thumbs up for all of the kind words today!

No, I wouldn't think it was funny. I also don't think it's funny when anyone's account gets deleted for no reason or from some dumb reason that makes no sense at all.
But, on the other hand, I think it's quite hilarious when an account gets deleted and DESERVES it! But then I get mad because it's useless anyway. Those are the ones that shouldn't be allowed back on here again.

Everyone has a right to be here whether you think they are right or not. The only ones who should be deleted are those who are intentionally malicious (IE: cloning accounts to try and make people look bad, posting porn of any kind, racism deliberately bad mouthing people by name for no reason and things like that. Everyone is entitled to an opinion whether we agree with them or not.
No it's not funny to have accounts deleted just because the system is flawed. To me it's childish and very immature whoever is doing it.

I can sure think of the people who would be the ones that find it funny... we know all those byb's are a big contribution to reporting and deleting cuz they don't like hearing what they do is unethical.
I think it's not fair that those who speak the truth get their accounts/questions/answers deleted. I've had my share of deleted answers and questions. I won't name anyone, but I'll bet there are a few that many of us could easily guess for being responsible for it.

I don't think it would be funny to have the account deleted. Especially when people are getting deleted for no reason. The account doesn't mean anything it would be the fact that I would be deleted for telling the truth.. That's not fair!

If it's an unjustified deletion, the person should appeal. I don't think Yahoo! is totally unreasonable if they recognize they made a legitimate mistake. They suspended my account, I appealed, and I got my account back. I'm using it right now.
If they delete it and don't reinstate after you appeal, just dust yourself off, do a pop & lock, a little robot, twirl, point your finger guns, and moonwalk to your next account.

The ones who sneer are trolls. They are probably the ones who got the person deleted too. Ignoring them is the best way to deal with them, since someone else will get them deleted.

I don't think its funny and I agree with Cindy.. there should be an explanation if your account gets deleted.
