Can someone give me the true reason why Muslims dont eat pork? I have asked many people and received a different answer almost each time, but can anyone give me the real reason for not eating pork?

Because in the Quran (Word of God) it says not to eat it.
Any other reason given is just to try and show you why pork is bad for you. That's it. But really it doesn't matter because even if it was good God told us not to and it is like a test. We are commanded not to and most people find it quite easy to follow. For those that don't they have no faith or failed the test.
God says in the Quran: You are forbidden [the consumption] of carrion, blood, swine flesh, that [meat] over which a name other than that of God has been invoked, [the meat of] strangled animals, those that have fallen, been beaten or rammed [or gorged by other animals] to death, those mangled [or devoured] by beasts of prey, save those which you slaughter in time; and those sacrificed to idols. (5:3)
EDIT:If you want another "reason" that is secondary to the one that really matters given in the first sentance of my response...We are not allowed to eat Carnivores (animals that eat other animals) and pigs are omnivorous. We can't even eat cows or any other animal if they were fed food that has dead animals mixed in --the way you can find many ranchers feeding them in the US. This is how mad cow disease came about too beause cows are supposed to eat GRASS.
Like I said though, God told us not to and why would one question God?

Cuz in the Bible (Koran) it says its forbidden to eat Pork cuz its unclean.
Ive actually read a book thats says pork causes 70% of sickness,diseases and cancer,if u realize most of the Muslims have alot less cancer than Christians from world wide!

I have to agree with spirit dummy..
In ancient times, when mohammad wrote ( ?) the quran, trichinosis produced many deaths. The only way to avoid the sickness, was to forbide the pork ingestion through a religious rule.
Of course that is not written in the quran, if they should have put it in the book, no one would have stopped eating pork and trichinosis would be epidemic in many arab countries.

Pigs are unclean animals. They eat all the waste. It is forbidden in Islam, Christianity, and Judaism to eat pork.

it is in the book of leviticus that porks are unclean. they were possessed by the devil and they eat very unsanitarily. that's why they do not eat pork

It is simple there is a list of do's and dont's in muslim relegion, they are exception in some cases, it is that muslim dont eat pork because it cannot be butchered like a goat,sheep, camel etc. A pig is killed by inserting a red hot iron rod inside its ***. So it is not "Halal" (acceptable) hence it cannot be eaten by muslims. if you are still not satisfied that let me know.

It isn't just Muslims. It's in the Torah for Jews and in the Old Testament of the Bible for Christians to follow {even though they don't}. It's because in the Bible, it says it's an unclean animal, and that pigs by nature are the garbage disposals of the animal kingdom, if they were to be given rotten food or their own kind, they would still eat it, because that is their nature. They also sleep in mud and sometimes their own feces. It's unclean and unpure, and should only be eaten if there is ABSOLUTELY no other food around. This is what we learn from the laws given to us in all three books.

Well I know in the Quran it is forbidden and in the old testament for the jews it was forbidden but not for the Christians. Don't ask me where though.

Because they consider it unclean but not everyone is the same. My fiance is a muslim but he eats pork..
