I need a list of recently developed (within 1 to 2 years) input and output devices for computers. They need to be quite well known.

That recent? Since mice, digitizers, fingerprint scanners, touchscreens, laser scanners, magnetic strip readers, retinal scanners, card readers, optical scanners, CD/DVD laser drives, etc etc are all way older than that....
What about controlling a computer with brainwaves?...Nope -- been around for years:
