Well you would think it was common sense for a blind person not to drive. Unfortunately, the law had to have been created for a reason.

well I heard it that a blind person was driving and his guide dog kept giving him the wrong directions and they ended up in an accident. hehehe
This goes along with the directions for using a hair dryer or toaster or radio, do not use while in the bathtub. Apparetnly they are some really stupid people out there that end up making these laws because they did it.

Because most people would assume that someone blind WOULDN'T drive. If the law was created though, someone must have tried. :p

Some people who are "legally blind "can still see to some extent. They might be tempted to drive.

we are guided by law. that law is for those adventurous blinds who may want to test their wits in driving. they are prohibited to drive, thats the law, so they should not drive!

I think it should be allowed, as long as they have one of those seeing eye driving dogs to guide them. Unless they run that dog over then they have to stop and get out.
