Because she is a sure thing...they know people will tune in and thus the studio execs will make a ton of moolah. It's always good entertainment to watch her self-destruct....her first show on VH-1, her movie career, her talk show, her magazine, the view. It's a moot point since the studio who knew they would make alot of money off of her...they just didn't want to give her a hefty piece of that pie. Because as greedy as the execs are even they know that you don't give the lunatics keys to the asylum.

i used to like Rosie when she had her own talk show. she was so seemingly nice and non threatening...until she decided to come out of the closet. then she turned vicious, wantint to attack everybody and drag them out of the closet with her. no need for her to do that at all. she wanted to jump on Kirstie Alley because she wore a bikini, and some other figure flattering shapewear on Oprah, she wanted to put Star Jones out for having weight loss surgery, which is none of anyones' business. she just turned into an angry old hag to me. why is it when people come out of the closet, the mean comes out in them? why didn't she just stay in the closet? anywho, that's the problem i had with Rosie. And when her and Elizabeth went at it, I thought that was ridiculous. Everyone has a right to their opinion and you can't make people agree with you and then attack them when they don't. Rosie sunk her own ship. Rosie could have her own talk show. she would just have to be fair and unbiased, and could she ever be? she's loud, and seemingly obnoxious/ should have a show with Bill O'Reilly and Bill Maher with Donald Trump as the moderator! LOL! just kidding...wish you the best!

The same reason anyone would give Tyra Banks or Ellen Degeneres THEIR own talk shows. They have a point of view and they think everyone needs to hear it.

I hate talk shows.

I'll listen to her. I know that there are many people who struggle with hearing other peoples points of view, but I am fine with it. I listen to people I disagree with ALL the time. Try it sometime.

I don't care for Rosie personally, but I'll be tuning in and I hope she kicks Hannity's butt in the ratings. *fingers crossed*

Don't care how anyone feels about her personally. But somehow she brings in extremely high ratings and in TV that means money. Bottom line is what they go for.

I will tune in. I like her, just cause she is not afraid to tell people what she thinks. Maybe you don't like it... but I think the world would be a better place if people were honest and open.

I will...SHE SAYS THINGS THAT MOST PEOPLE THINK BUT DON'T HAVE THE BALLS TO SAY....If you don't like her don't watch her...That's the great thing about this country, you have the freedom to change the channel......The funny thing is, I know alot of people who claimed not to like her, but would say to me "did you see what happened yesterday on the View"""..So if all the haters didn't watch her, then there would be no reason to hate her, because you wouldn't know what was coming out of her mouth...right???

No, she should be sent to wherever the govt thinks Bin Laden is, as her bellowing and pathetic points of view would make him run to the police and he'd confess any crime. Actually, they should pipe her whining into cells where they are questioning any suspects, if they are guilty they will confess to get away from her.
