Are there any relatively inexpensive lift device for home use.

I have several older rear projection TV that I want lifted and moved to a different are of the house.

I think answer 1 has a valid suggestion regarding what to use that you already have; albeit a projection TV might not work with a wheel chair. What about just a hand truck and straps to hold the TV. Also HD; perhaps Lowes as well; sells Dollys. I have them for Theater work and they are Oak, with carpeted pads, and maybe 3 inch wheels.

Use a wheelchair, if you find one to borrow for a bit. Just carefully slide on to seat. I have also used my childs scooter for moving harcore from the front of our house to the rear. Lots of things can be used for functions that you would not expect normally, think laterally!

Buy several short sections 25mm pipe and use as rollers to move it around effortlessly to your desired place
