I just got out all my old ones last weekend.....my dad brought me my old cassette player and I just had to play them all again for old times sake.
Of course some of the tapes just disintegrated when I touched them.....such good memories!

Yes, but the sound quality is poor since I don't have a cassette player anymore. When I hold the cassette tape up to my ear, I can't hear a thing! But seriously....I haven't listened to cassette music in about 20 years.

hehe, I certainly have a particularly diverse adventure. while i replaced right into a baby we had seventy 8 RPM information. We had a windup checklist participant, with huge horn popping out backside. while i replaced into approximately 5 I used to look on the checklist spinning with the needle and puzzled how in the worldwide it replaced into playing. As I grew up we switched to 40 5, then later 33 a million/3 Rpm. Then Reel to Reel Tape got here out. Then 8 tracks, then cassettes. finally Cd's. Now that the cyber web is right here I pay attention to track 24/7 off the internet. click the link and you will pay attention what i'm listening to as I kind. If via any possibility you certainly like it, in basic terms drag it on your very own pc. :)

It's not being sold in the music stores anymore.
I still have the cassette tapes I bought when I was younger, but they don't work anymore when I tried them out.

YES, I have some cassettes of some very old music my wife's uncle made us from his collection, I have not had them converted to digital format to play on CD or MP3 so I still use the old cassettes.
I have such a horrible time scratching CD's that I really dont like them, cassettes are much better for cars in some ways.

I have some tapes from a few years back and the ability to play them on my cd/radio/tape player, but I rarely do. My mother still listens to books on tape on her walkman while she works on the house, or while driving.

Yes, though I've got a CD player, but some of my evergreen music are on tapes and I can't be bothered transferring them to CD.

i have a stack of stuff on cassette tape that has never been re-issued on cd.
i won't listen to it on mp3, because mp3 is a lo-fi medium.
if you're serious about music sound quality matters to you.
